The Astral Express
Astral Express was a school project for our web-development during our 2nd year of college in 2023. The Astral Express was a booking site complete with all the necessary pages needed for it. Including a Home page, room gallery and a booking page. the Astral Express’s theme revolves around the theme of grandeur and luxury of a five star hotel, using vibrant colors of red and gold accompanied with a pattern of florals and vines reminiscent of those found in the Rococo period further establishing the luxury vibes

The Goal
The Astral Express is a fictional hotel brand from my 2nd year of college. the goal was to design and develop a functioning booking page complete with a booking system and a uniformed design
My Role
My role in this project was the front-end designer and developer. i was tasked with coming up a flattering design for Astral express that communicates luxury and grandeur reflecting our idea for the hotel.
Tools Used
The tools used in this project was visual studio code, and Xammp. the website was fully made from scratch with each line of code being written by us.
What I've Learned
I’ve learned in this project the importance of a cohesive design when it comes to communicating the identity of a brand and how will that be interpreted by the audience.
